AJAX Content Rotator for DotNetNuke

The Gumbosoft AJAX Content Rotator is a DotNetNuke module that allows for both real-time and per page load content rotation. 

With all of its features, it's like multiple modules in one!

Features:

  • Configurable slide display time.
  • Several Sequencing Modes:
    • Sequential
    • Random
    • Weighted Random (Can assign a relative weight to specific slides)
    • Start To End (No repeat, Stops at the end)
    • Start To End (Repeat) (New in Version 2.3)
  • HTML content slides, Module slides (Displays the content from arbitrary modules), or Template based slides (New in Version 1.2) which is a combination of a content and module slide.
  • Optional slide transitions.
  • Ability to set transition duration (New in Version 1.5)
  • Optional "Pause on Mouse Over" support (New in Version 1.2)
  • Module permissions are (Optionally) enforced for "Module" and "Template" type slides which allows role based targeted content rotation.
    • Optionally override module permissions so that they can always be viewed within the rotator.  This allows having the source module on the same page as the rotator, but only visible to the configured user/role. (New in Version 1.5)
  • Module start and end dates are enforced for "Module" and "Template" type slides which allows scheduled content rotation.
  • Quick template based photo slide show image import (Allows for a quick and easy slide show).
  • Import/Export (IPortable) support.
  • DotNetNuke search integration.
  • No Flash Requirements on the client.
  • Supports routing IMC (Inter Module Communication) message to wrapped modules which support IMC (New in Version 1.5)
  • Enable/Disable hiding of source wrapped modules (New in Version 1.8)
  • Added a shortcut for toggling enabling/disabling of slides for quick testing (New in Version 1.9)
  • Added options for adding navigation controls (Prev, Next, Pause and go directly to a slide).  (Updated in Version 2.2)
  • Fully localizable

  • DotNetNuke 4.5+ / 5.x site running on top of ASP.Net 2.0+
  • ASP.Net AJAX Extensions 1.0

I wanted to have a simple slide show actually 3 on the same page. so I put this module into 3 panes next to each other. I didnt think it would work and presto !! it made for a really cool layout for the images on that page. It does some things I didnt expect. Also on my best buy list.

This module is very easy to use.  It was an error free install on DNN 4.7.  This module allows for a customized layout of any rotating content you may have.   The documentation is complete and concise.  I designed a custom slideshow in minutes with this module.  This module is definitely worth 5 stars.

Nice.   This is heavily used on my site ( see link below. ) I love it.  I have recieved every dollars worth on this exceptional piece of work. It did not interfere with anything on my site and I LOVE IT!  Even with Five Stars you always want more. Perhaps linking to a file directory so I don't have to manually update every time I want to add an image. Well that is just me. Always asking for one more....  Great Job folks. Oh The support and communications are Also Five Star for this group.

We were looking for a simple image content rotator, and in AJAX Content Rotator we found that and more! AJAX CR is a well engineered DotNetNuke module. Very quick and easy to adapt to your liking with good help/tooltips and a very good user interface. Cool ability to rotate 'modules'! Support is also very, very good. This was our first experience with Gumbosoft and we are very pleased.
