The Gumbosoft Script Injector is a DotNetNuke module that allows you easily insert script or style sheets into various locations your page.  Make use of the thousands of open source/commercial scripts or out there or use your own custom scripts.  No core or skin changes necessary!

 

Feature Highlights:

• Include any type of script or extra style sheets into your DNN pages.
• Manage multiple scripts/styles from a single instance of the module.
• Types of scripts supported:
  • Raw – Anything goes, from HTML to inline style definitions to a complex script.  You specify it and it will be included.  This is also a great place to copy/paste script code from other sources.
  • Raw (With Token Processing) – Similar to the 'Raw' script type, except DotNetNuke tokens can also be used within the scripts.  See the documentation for the list of supported tokens. (New in Version 2.5)
  • Raw JavaScript (With Token Processing) – Similar to the 'Raw (With Token Processing)' script type except it places the opening and closing script tags automatically. (New in Version 2.8)
  • Style sheet – Specify the URL or select the folder/file of an extra CSS file to include.
  • JavaScript – Specify the URL or select the folder/file of a JavaScript file to include.
  • VB Script – Specify the URL or select the folder/file of a VB script file to include.
  • JavaScript (Executes on Page Load) – Specify JavaScript code that will automatically be executed after the page has finished loading.
  • JavaScript (Executes on Page Unload) – Specify JavaScript code that will automatically be executed after the page has finished unloading.
  • JavaScript (Intercept Form Submit) – Specify JavaScript code that will automatically be executed right before the form is submitted.  Also allows the form submission to be cancelled.  (New in Version 2.5)
  • Google Analytics – Helper for the Google Analaytics script code.  Just specify your Web Property ID.  (New in Version 2.8)
  • Digg – Helper for the Digg social bookmarking script code.  (New in Version 2.8)
  • Raw (With Form Processing) – Similar to Raw, but allows an embedded HTML Form.
  • Raw (With Form Copy Processing) – Like Raw, but you can include an HTML form. This type of processing creates a hidden copy of your form and submits the copy of the form after copying the appropriate form input values to the hidden form.
    • Added support for HTML "<select>" form elements. (New in Version 2.6)
    • Added support for HTML "<textarea>" form elements. (New in Version 2.9)
• Place the script or script/style inclusion into various places on your page:
  • Head – Places the script/style into the head area of your page.
  • In Place – Places the script/style in place where the module is located on the page.
  • After Opening Form Tag – Places the script/style after the opening form tag (Near the beginning of the page).
  • Before Closing Form Tag – Places the script/style before the closing form tag (Near the end of the page).
  • After Opening Body Tag – Places the script/style after the opening body tag (Outside of the Form tag).
  • Before Closing Body Tag – Places the script/style before the closing body tag (Outside of the Form tag).
• Quickly enable/disable particular scripts/styles from being included.
